Being in rooms with blue walls totally makes me anxious. I blogged about this before on my old blog, but recently my blue wall anxiety came back! It all started at a doctors appointment (during my pregnancy) when I was seen in a different exam room. The walls in this room were a blue/gray, and I immediately felt uneasy and anxious after a minute or two of being in there. That color seriously messes with my sanity. Weird, right?! Thank God I was only in that exam room twice during my entire pregnancy. Then, last week we were house sitting for my dad who has navy blue tile and walls in his bathroom. BLUE OVERLOAD. I thought I was going to lose my mind. This time, I felt less uneasy but more trapped and claustrophobic. Generally, when I think of being in a blue room, it makes my skin crawl. (This excludes bright blues, green/blues, and turquoise rooms for some reason.)
My wall color phobia does not stop there. My parents have a small living room with red furniture and a yellow wall. Maybe it's the combo of the 2 colors, but I rarely will go into that room. The yellow is too mustardy and reminds me of vomity bile or something. Plus the brightness of the room is screaming "BE HAPPY IN THIS ROOM" and I just don't enjoy that forced cheerfulness. I planned on painting Isla's future room a yellow/pink combo...but the yellow has to be brighter, or lighter, or something. Yellow is one of my favorite colors, which makes this even more bizarre.
Yep, I seriously might be crazy.

I think you need to move back to Minnesota! The pollution in the air out there must be making you crazy! You would have a heart attack in Colton's toyroom - super blue walls all the way around!!
Yeah, I seriously don't know how this even started! Andy and I had planned on painting our basement blue when we lived in the townhouse!
