It's 1:05am and I can't sleep. Probably because I slept until 11am this morning (thanks to my lovely husband who worked from home this morning so I could catch up on my sleep and get over this cold!). Too bad babies don't love sleeping in. I'd prefer Isla stay up late with us, and sleep all morning with me :) Thankfully, tomorrow she will be with Grandpa DANGER and Grandma, even though she has a yucky cold. Friday night sleepovers are Isla's favorite :) It's a nice little tradition my dad started, and it gives Andy and I some much needed couple time. Even though it's not always spent just him and I, it's nice not having to wake up for night feedings and get up early on Saturday mornings.
I can't get enough of her cuteness. I just wish I had more energy in the morning to give her the attention she deserves! I'm like a walking zombie who chugs Mountain Dew to stay awake. Thankfully mornings are pretty peaceful and she enjoys playing with her toys alone while I get my act together. I have a feeling tomorrow morning is going to come much too soon though...

I love that picture of her - she is just too cute! And the sleepovers with Grandpa and Grandma are good for everyone! Colton spends Sunday nights with my parents and he loves it and it is a nice little break for Frankie and me as well! Plus the bonding for the grandparents is a good thing too! Hopefully we get to see Isla sometime this Spring (before she is walking but at the rate she is moving I don't know she will hold out)! I am so happy you are blogging again, keep it up!
Oh man...any night sleepovers would be great for us! I'm jealous! Of course Gabe will be spending a week at Camp Moberg this summer and my mother-in-law takes the kids really whenever we need her to.
