This year, we are all about CHRISTMAS! We've seen Santa twice, taken a rainy sleigh ride, watched Christmas movies, played in the snow, and we still have some upcoming events! Plus, the first 3 Sundays in December have been reserved for my family's Christmas EXTRAVAGANZA. Sounds awesome?! Yep...it is. It is an event created by me, and so far, we've had a wonderful time. My family usually gets together every Sunday...but we tend to do the same old thing. So I figured I could add some festive fun to our get-togethers by adding things like: Wii bowling competition (with a $101 prize!), Wii Just Dance competition, board games with Christmasy prizes, Christmas related games, an ornament exchange, and different yummy meals each week. So fun! Oh, and I'm sure you are dying to know who won the do-rag, right?! My brother's girlfriend, Angela, won the awesome prize...but Tom was incredibly excited to share with her.

On top of all that festive fun, I had a lovely dinner last Saturday with my wonderful girlfriends. We exchanged ornaments, ate yummy food, and stayed well past the bill was paid (per usual!).
It was nice to be able to celebrate the holidays with my friends, especially since I'll be missing the annual Girl's Christmas this year with my MN girlfriends. And don't even get me started on how depressing that is! I have been to every Christmas gathering since our very first one in 1999.

awww, this makes me so sad. I've only been part of your holiday tradition for the past few years, but I'm so glad you ladies let me join in. We will surely miss you!!!! Make sure you get up here as soon as you can.
And, I am totally jealous of the do-rag. I, too, had a starter jacket when I was in middle school and for the start of high school. It was a Milwaukee Bucks one. I was not a Bucks fan, but I liked the green and purple. I will have to search through all of my old photos and post one on here. Many of them have been destroyed because I was such a dork and didn't want anyone to find the horrible evidence of this. Anywho, hope you have fun the rest of the holidays and I look forward to hopefully seeing you soon.

Ditto Suzi, we'll miss you this year. But I'm really looking forward to our soon-to-be annual summer get-together!!
P.S. I think it's hilarious you girls went to sit on Santa's lap that year.
Suzi...I would love to see a pic of you in your Starter jacket! Both Tom and Abb had one...they were too cool for me.
Lisa...I was out of the dance competition after the first round! Andy and Abb made it to the finals...Abb won! I'm pretty sure I had a faulty controler :)
I can't wait until we get the date on the books for our annual summer gathering!
Oh my gosh - I had a Start Jacket in Junior High as well - a Philadelphia Eagles one and that is only becuase the nieghbor boy said they were a cool team (I did not follow sports at all back then)! Glad you are having a great Holiday Season so far, hope it keeps up all the way through the New Year!
